I think I’m gonna write most of this in English since it’s probably easier for everyone – for my usual Swedish speaking readers, for the Finnish (and Russian!) Turbojugends, and especially for me, so I don’t have to multi-translate everything 😉
So. This has been an aaaawesome weekend in Helsinki! Always nice to meet up with the Jugend again. And this time around I got to use my new camera, so I’ve got A SHITLOAD of pictures for you. If you want to have a closer look, just click on a picture and it becomes bigger. Feel free to ”borrow” them if you’re on them, but please note that I have made them smaller before I uploaded them here, so that has affected the resolution a lot. If you want to have some of them in better quality, just tell me, and I’ll email them to you.
TJ Vasa Darkness got in a great hurry to get to Helsinki in time. When we finally found a parking spot and made it to our hotel, we had less than half an hour to get to The Circus before Turbonegro started to play. But as you can see, WE MADE IT! Close call…. Big thanks to Juho, without him we would probably still wander around lost in the streets of Helsinki.
Euroboys pants ❤
Turbonegro did an awesome gig, per usual!! This was the sixth time I saw them live, in a span of five years, hehe.
Old friends catching up with each other in the blue lights after the group-turbojugend-photos were taken.
Some dancing went down.
Jenni looks slightly mad. Slightly.
Love this picture of Minna and David!
Me and my favorite librarian!
KickAss Kix & Agent Cooter – the selfie series.
…and kisses! David sure seems to be popular.
HAHAH. Don’t know what to say about this one.
…or this one…
What are her fingers doing in his mouth..?
Outside of Circus, ready to go to Bar Base.
Since Vasa Darkness were in such a hurry to get in time to the gig, we hadn’t really eaten anything, so we did a pitstop at Burger King before Bar Base. But Kenneth ran ahead of us, so we simply brought him a burger.
I can tell you that he’s not exactly the type of person who shares food, so this must be real love right here.
Some kind of a weird french kiss..?
Haha, aaaw! ❤
Outside of the bar.
Hahah, Fishy!! :’D
Back at the hotel. I didn’t mean for this picture to be focusing on Davids bald head, but oh well then.
I thought a long time about if it was such a smart idea to bring an expencive camera like this with me on the bar, but hey, at least it gets more cheap for me when I’m too paranoid to get real drunk!
…even though I would not exactly call this sober either.
I believe it was Katja who took the next two pictures.
I’m making the bed.
On Saturday we went to the record fair at Tavastia, to shop some vinyl.
Picture from my instagram, my name there is getyourkixx (note the two x’s).
Kenneth bought shitloads and was a happy boy! Here he’s showing his finds to Juuso, when we all went for pizza.
Torbjörn looks like he has never done anything wrong in his entire life.
Quattro Formaggi. I love cheese. I love pizza. I love beer. I love the man sitting opposite me. I love the denim family. Can’t get much better than this.
”Mellanfest” at the hotel room. Juho seems thrilled over the fact that it’s Finlands Independence Day…
A close-up on Kenneths Welt-Turbojugend-Tage tattoo.
*Insert emojicon with heart-shaped eyes here*
Ylikova. Ylihomo. Ylihurri.
The ADRIIAAAAAAAN!!!-thingy never gets old.
Living la Vida Böglyfe.
Katja is too old to die young.
Vi tvingade våra finskatalande vänner att lyssna på Onkel Kånkels skiva En gammeldags jul. Vet inte hur pass väl det gick hem.
Our president starts to look a little dreamy. Time to hit the bar!
Off course we are cheering with bubbles when it’s our Indepence Day! Classy Kaisa!
So tell me… who the hell is Kenneth blowing kisses to?! :’D It sure as hell isn’t me…
Another weird pic. Juuso… why do you hate me? 😉
Look at that concentrated face.
And here we have our Norwegian friend Kim who threw coins at everybody because ”I NORGE HAR VI PENGER!!”
Who’s stupid idea was it to make duckfaces?! Don’t tell me it was mine?!
….it probably was mine. Fuck.
We took the Russian Jugends with us to a Karaoke Bar. That was all sorts of fun…
Kenneth and I sang a duet to Bonnie Tylers Total Eclipse of the Heart. I think the sound of that gave me chronical brain damage. It was real bad. But real fun as well, haha.
Kim and Juho sang Toto’s Africa, and we all sang with them. True Karaoke stars.
Uhmm…. Juho, I know she’s real cute, but you’re not being very discreet right now, haha.
Sunday… We woke up pretty early because we had to check out from the hotel at 10am. Fishy thought it would be a good idea to start making noodles a quarter before 10…
We told him we did not have time for noodles but he didn’t give a fuck, because he’s too badass.
The rebellious noodles.
Juho and Katja followed us to the parking garage to say goodbye. That’s when we happened to pass Popeda’s tour bus outside of Tavastia, where they had played the day before. We only saw it fitting to make them a new promopicture.
On our way home. Thanks everyone for an awesome weekend!! You guys are amazing ❤
